We’re more than a bee and lavender farm – we’re an experience!
This seasonal setting is open to the public on most weekends between the months of June and September. Fresh and dried lavender and raw honey are available in season. A walking meditation through an on-site living lavender labyrinth promotes mindfulness of nature. Every year the landscape of the setting has been creatively modified in keeping with the native plants and trees so that the setting is an ideal background for family/friends and individual photos and, nature photography. A variety of group activities provide visitors with an experience that taps into what is good about life and our relationship with others.
“Last summer, we paid a chance visit to Lavender Hives, a delightful enclave of fragrant lavender bushes planted in circles and a (busy) apiary nearby. Owners Cathy and Garry gave us a splendid introduction to the many uses of lavender (culinary, aroma sachets, room scent, etc) and, not least, a subtle, fragrant honey for the breakfast table. We’ll be back!”

Farm Policies
Most visitors to our farm will find that we are easy to talk to and are interested in your questions about the farm. Having fun and learning about nature and the surrounding environment is offered to you through a limited number of rules that ensure everyone’s safety. Obviously, if you have an allergy to lavender or to bees, then this agri-tourism destination is not for you! Otherwise, we hope that you will honour and respect the environment, the plants, the bees, the owners, and other visitors by adhering to the following: walking access to the lavender is allowed in the rows and in the labyrinth; access to the beeyard must be supervised by the owners; dogs must be on a leash and under the control of the owner; there is no smoking on the property; benches are there for your relaxation; hobby photography is free of charge.
